I loved the first one. I wont see scary movies in the movie theater. I have to be in my front room where I have 8 windows and lots of daylight.

the first one was great and they say the second one is even better. anyone for new kids on the block??? donnie wahlburg plays in it. but i dont really consider it scarey. its more gruelsome then scary. but ooh the dark room makes it even better.

I can't watch scary movies at the theater either. I can handle the dark as long as I have my pillow or blanket ready to cover my eyes if need be.

Stupid, stupid, stupid CURFEW!!! Grr! This dumb hurricane stuff just won't go away! The city has a curfew, it was from 8PM to 6AM, but I think they moved it a little later. But the theater just closed, no 10:00 show! So tomorrow!

I haven't seen the first one but you guys have got me totally interested in seeing it. I just talked to FH and apparently it is on our Netflix queue. He said it has a good premise for a horror flick so I can't wait!
Speaking of horror flicks, what is everyone doing for Halloween weekend? I'm drinking my pumpkin ale and we'll watch some horror flicks either tonight or tomorrow night. I really want to watch "Sean of the Dead" again or the original "Poltergeist" since I haven't seen it in years.

We saw "Saw 2" tonight! It was awesome! We totally loved the first one and bought that DVD. I was so excited when I heard a movie critic this morning say that this was the best sequel he had seen in years (I was afraid it wouldn't live up to the original).
It was SO GREAT and they left it open for another sequal. YAY! It is pretty hilarious, though, since I was such a huge NKOTB fan (and Donnie was my fave) to see that he didn't turn out so hot. (oh well, there's always his brother Mark!)

FH, my MOH, and I just got back from seeing it! We really liked it...FH was worried that the Wahlberg factor would make it cheesy but we loved it. We were crazy about the first one- it's just so different from your average horror flick and we had to see this sequel the day it came out :) I'm happy we did, it's a great movie for this time of year and they did a sequel very well, and also let it open for a third one, but that might be a tad bit overkill :p
 Lauren

We just now got back from the theater! OMG!!! Awesome movie! Who was the NKOTB guy? I was never much of a fan, so I wouldn't have even know if I hadn't heard it here. But what a movie!!! Can't wait for SAW III!!!

I completely agree with you. I'd categorize it as a suspense movie, not a horror/scary movie.

I agree... it's more like a psycho thriller!

KNOTB...Donnie Wahlberg...Mark's big brother. He's old now... FH doesn't feel well so we couldn't go. Maybe next weekend :( .
Sorry you couldn't go. Hopefully he'll be feeling better soon! (Or is he acting sick because he's really too scared to see the movie??) :p
