My groom is full-blooded Filipino, so we're having a (mostly) traditional Filipino wedding.
Let me tell you, finding a priest in Las Vegas who knows how to do these is not very easy.
I mean, sure, I've found one. But getting the wedding planner for the site he was listed under won't freakin' email me back. It's like, hello, do you want my money or not?
We were originally going to print out a script and hand it to the minister and be like, "here, read this:", but we're afraid they'd be like, "Um...no." And we're not going to risk that. It's Vegas, it's not like if they lose our business they're out anything...
Anyhow, we're going to have the veil, cord, and coin, and possibly the unity candle tradition (http://members.aol.com/ZVELASCO/wedding.html) as well. We're bending the rules a wee bit because we dont want to have sponsors AND wedding party, we want the sponsors to be IN the wedding party.
