Possible change in colors: Coral for beach wedding?

Well, I'm considering changing our wedding colors.... Previously we'd been set on shades of jade and sea blue (as it's a beach wedding).

However, in one of my new bridal mags this month, I ran across a feature on a wedding done on the beach, and their colors were coral (as in not quite pink, not quite orange) and sand... and it was STUNNING... very warm and romantic.

Does anyone have pics of weddings done with these colors, and more importantly, any ideas for flowers? Previously I was thinking of pure white flowers with touches of green (jade roses) for my flowers, then bright, tropical flowers for the reception/decor...

I think the pure white flowers would look really nice too. But that is different, coral and sand (which reminds me of khaki). I think it would look beautiful with the white flowers.

I dont have any pictures but I too was thinking to do blue and green for my beach themed wedding... then I found my dress and the blue/green theme didnt really go with it so I changed to pink.

I did my wedding in Palm Beach Coral - only because hubby is a Signal officer in the Amry, and his colors are the orange and yellow, so yellow looks too washed out so we went with the coral. I hated it at first, but it grew on me.

My mom used Coral as her color when she got married...then gave that to me as a middle name, you think she likes it lol. I think coral is a nice color and not used that often either!!

anyways coral is a beautiful corlor especially with sand it balancing with the sand color and just beautiful. and besides there are shells that are that color and ..in terms of food lobster and shrimp are also that beautiful color (shirmp more so). (grandaughter of a fisherman so i associate food with beaches)

Coral is a great idea for a beach wedding. I think you could still do the blue and green as well, it would look great.

LMAO!!! I have found some pics of a pretty light/China blue with coral... kinda combines what I had in mind originally with the nice, warm coral shade... really fresh and pretty. Hmmmm......
