OK Misty...I did mine over and your details helped me with mine. It took me 1.5 hours last night to get it decent. We still haven't gotten any replies here as to what we could be missing. I found this site...let me go get...brb!
OK back...this is the site http://rockhay.tripod.com/wedding/. I added in the "Charge to the Bride and Groom". You can also add in the Participation of Parents (like I did), ummmmm....Participation of Congregation, a Meditation...and I didn't know that Presentation of the Couple was optional. Check it out...tell me what you think.
Charge to the B & G - I think is Declaration of Intentions od Pastor's list
we don't want a sermon, so I think we'll skip the meditation.
Presentation is the same as our Introduction to Congregation.

I have a note in my journal, but not in my ceremony detail there, but I will do a participation of Uncle. I need to ask my mom what she wants him to say. I am thinking "her family" should be his answer.
if he says her mother & i ppl will think he is my dad.

The Pledge/Betrothal is equivelant to what on your list?
ummmm.....
i don't know. i'll brb with a methodist wedding.
http://www.myweddingvows.com/traditional-wedding-vows/methodist-wedding-vows those are vows.
i looked in the hymnal when i was there & don't necessarily remember that part.
but i bet they have something similar. i am not including the wording for things bc Pastor knows what he is doing there & we will speak on it when we meet after Thanksgiving.
I still don't know if we are doing our own vows at all or not. I want the traditional ones, but I think maybe I'd like to add something personal in. I just don't know if I will be able to talk!

Misty - Just wondering I can't see where you have the Singing of the Register (Marriage License). Maybe things are different in the US, but that is always a part of wedding's I've been to (Canada), cause it's the part where you legally become married... Usually a soloist or something will sing during the signing and it's a big picture op.
I've never been to a wedding where the bride & groom sign the license there, we actually do ours at the rehersal the day before.

We have to sign ours during the ceremony...I thought it was during the pronouncement of the marriage.
you may want to check with whoever is marrying you, i've never seen it done during the ceremony itself...

I know in the State of Maryland the people getting married don't actually sign the marriage certificate, just the officiant. (I think! Its been almost 2 years since I looked at the Marriage License from my soon to be EX HUSBAND!)
