All my friends and my mom both have their wedding band closer to the hand.

yeah the wedding band- just think you have to take off the e-ring in the ceremony to put on the wedding band

I'll probably wear my band above my e ring only because I have a wrap too. He gave me the set when he proposed, I don't think he realized the wrap was supposed to be for later!

the wedding band goes on first/ closer to the hand.
Traditional purpose - its closer to your heart.
I personally don't think it matters though... wear it however it feels most comfortable.

Yeah, I agree with all of these posts. The wedding band is closer to your hand and the engagement ring is above it. During the wedding ceremony, some brides wear their engagement ring on the ring finger of the right hand, so that the groom can slip the wedding band onto the ring finger of the left hand.

i agree with carrie, your wedding band is supposed to represent a circle of love, or something like that and is supposed to be closet to your heart
