i guess winter is offically here as it is snowing in Ottawa..just big fluffy ones but it makes driving a pain and it sucks cause that means it is only gonna get colder....on the other hand we will be leaving for England on monday for our house hunting trip so we should get a winter with little to no snow....i am so ok with that.....i hate the cold....can't horse back ride cause it is too cold...
but you can snowmachine:D and that is fun too....

ooh snowmobiling, so fun! i cant believe it is snowing there. thats kinda cool, that means youll have a white christmas YAY! were at record high tempatures right now. i think its going up to 67 today. its usually extremely cold by now. it omly sucks, cause winter will probably jsut last longer now

no snow here, we'd have to go up to the mountains for that. we are in a heat wave right now the high today is in the upper 80's, can't wait til it cools down a bit!

I hate snow!
Unfortunately, it should snow in Seattle this year. Usually happens once every 2 years so its time. One winter it snowed 5 inches and shut down the entire city! Being a New Englander I almost died laughing!

I hear you on that! I am originally from Southwest Iowa, near Omaha, NE & it snows there a lot. Her in IL, they close the schools for an inch and a half of snow! The plows & sand trucks start when you can barely see hte flakes and no one knows how to drive! - but they are all out driving around for some reason.

People here always try to drive in the snow too...But Oklahoman's don't freak out as much when it snows. It's just when the ice comes that we are holed up our houses. They say that it is supposed to be a really bad winter. Today is actually the first day that it has been cold so far. I put a space heater under my desk so I am extra toasty!

We've gotten some snow too, will be interesting to see if it lasts this time. We got some a few weeks ago, but then it was gone by two-three days. :p

I don't like winter much, I tend to always fall :p And mid-Sweden is so freaking cold! :(

a few year ago, when i was living in AZ, it snowed north of phoenix and they were shutting things down. we didn't get any snow though...

It snows here usually about 2 times a year and barely covers the ground when it does. Last year it snowed on Dec 20 and my boss made us come to work (I was very upset about it cause I had never driven in the snow and didnt want to come) so very slowly driving here I made it and when I was walking to the door I slipped and hurt my knee very badly so they took me outta work for 2 weeks!! lol I already told them this year if it snows I am staying in the house so I am not on crutches at my wedding!!! But I do LOVE the snow!!!

I think the snow missed us. I like snow but wish it would only stick to the grass and not the street. I hate driving in it!

I so wish it was snowing here!!!!!! V. jealous!!! We normally don't get any snow until jan...and then it's only about 1cm!!!

It's cold and rainy here too...but it's supposed to be snowing later tonight. I agree with Jennifer...I like it on the grass but driving in it sucks. Especially when you're around people who don't know how to drive in it!!!

Yeah we got snow here in Iowa today as well. I don't ever remember a year that it snowed and it actually stuck before Thanksgiving. We have probably a half inch out there, I'm sure it will be melted by tomorrow afternoon...though I did hear that we are supposed to have blizzard conditions tomorrow.....

I hate snow and could live somewhere where it is warm year around. Carrie I am very jealous of your record breaking weather. Our weather as been nice but not that nice.

yeah, well. the rent makes this place un-livable! People with good jobs can barely afford rent here, you have to be RICH to buy a house!!!

i can't wait until it snows!! I LOVE SNOW!!. We had a few flurries the other day (very tiny ones) but they stopped and i haven't seen them again just yet. Every so often, i think i catch the weather person say there's a chance, but so far, i've only seen some flurries that one day. (we live in upstate, NY)

Yeah, I guess there were 6 tornados that touched down in Iowa the other day. One of them (just south of Des Moines - the capital) someone was killed. I didn't hear about it until after the fact. I heard on Saturday when I went to Wal-Mart that we were under tornado watch back home and I had no idea...LOL! We have been having really strange weather lately. Its pretty much been raining for the last 4-5 days....and its just now turning to snow.

Lets hope for blizzard conditions tomorrow....maybe school will be cancelled! :)

Its pretty bad here in Minnesota. It rained almost all day and then started snowing so eveything is icy. I thought I was going to have to call FH to come get me from work because I couldn't get my car doors open...they were FROZEN shut, but finally I got one open!!

For get what I said about a little snow. It ended up snowing all night pretty much and we now have a 1-3 inches out there now. :( The wind is terrible out there too....and of course, I'm still going to school.

It is freeezing here! ok, so just very cold & i wasn't wearing a coat, just a hoodie. but anyway, it is snowing here now, but such tiny flakes you can barely see them. i am not ready for snow!

Ladies send some of that snow my way!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE SNOW!!! It is warm out today 77 degrees already!!! :( Doesn't seem like its almost Turkey Day by the weather we are having!!!

77? Gosh where are you girl?! It is 31 here right now. I actually had to start the car to warm up this morning.

Know the feeling :p I think the max temp here this morning could be 32F.
Normal temp here when winter really kicks in will probably be -13F, most likely lower as well :(

right now it is 28F, feels like 15F, high is 35F.
in a couple days it is supposed to go back to 55F. crazy weather

I live just outside of Jacksonville, North Carolina ~ it has been VERY warm here for the past 2 weeks which sucks cause I love cold weather. A cold front is suppose to come through tonight and tomorrow is only suppose to get up to 57 degrees!! I will be loving that!! lol

It sucks here. With the wind chill, its 7 degrees outside. :( Its been snowing off and on the whole day. I'm wearing pants, t-shirt, sweatshirt and my Columbia jacket and I'm still freezing when I go outside. Sucked trying to clean off my car to head to class today....all of the rain we got yesterday froze and then there was snow on top of it....I hate ice.
