I don't have a problem with beauty pageants. I came across these photos and I had to share. Some of these kids look like dolls, others look like adults.

Man some of them just look so fake. Are you gonna watch Dr. Phil tomorrow when they have this as a topic?

i think beauty pageants for kids are weird. makes me wonder about what values their parents are teaching them.

Yeah I don't think I ever make up my daughter like some of them kids that is just weird. they look fake. I think pagents are wrong just not right to put kids through maybe when they go older like 14-16 but still I don't see the whole point of pagents, its just showing your beauty which I personally am a strong believer on inner beauty rather then whats on the outside.

I just set an alarm to remind me to catch Dr. Phil tomorrow. Looks like it'll be a good one. I'm not really sure how I feel about the pagents, some people definitely push the kids too hard, but on the other hand, I think some of the kids really like it. I knew one girl who did pagents from the time she was little through high school and loved it, but her mom was cool about it, not psycho at all. I'm not sure how young she started.

She is cute - *notice* this child has no makeup - http://www.woolcom.net/m&d/images/2005OSTF/A_13_5Mar05_Baby-Girl-1-J.JPG

What happened to kid pageants where girls just curled their hair and wore frilly dresses? I think it's a problem when your child is wearing more makeup than many drag queens! :D

Those poor little girls :( I think I would cry if I had to be dressed up in frilly things and wear a ton of make-up.

Woah, that's freaky.. I wouldn't do that to my kids. I think pageants can be great for kids, but not when they're that young and wearing that much make up.. I saw a documentary on it and the little girl was really heading down the wrong path..
