I was surprised. We had talked about getting married for so long but never expected it so soon. Everything was so surreal, all the talking about the what "If's" and "When's" were all coming to life. On Friday August 17th he told me he had a surprise for me and to be ready when he got to my house. When he got to my house he had roses for me, I thought that was the surprise. We continued our night and went to get dinner, burgers and fries. He suggested chinese but I insisted burgers. We took our dinner to a hotel. I thought great a cool getaway. We do this sometimes, its special. we always go to the same one. Its where we spent our first valentines togethers. he opened the door to the same exact room we spent the first valentines day, and all i could see were rose petal everywhere! caldles glistening, and a great view. I was amazed! we sat on the bed and had our dinner. The conversation was amazing. We talked about everything, how we met, why we love eachother, EVERYTHING! Later he asked if I wanted dessert, I said yes and he gave me a black chinese take out box. Inside was a fortune cookie. The fortune read "Will you marry me?" As I looked up with my teary eyes, he handed me a rose. He opened it, and there was the ring, the most beautiful one you can ever imagine!
