Finding a Job...

Well as of this friday i am done my job. I currently work for my parents in the family business. I wasn't asked to leave but I am doing it because I think it is best for me. I have been very stressed at work and it is really taking a toll on my health. Not only that but we have been incredibly slow, so I felt it was time to move on. Now the fun begins......trying to find something else. I made decent money working for my parents, and I am not sure that I will find the same thing. I have applied at several different places already and I am just waiting to hear back from them.....so I am keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Hey ladies.....just after I posted this I received a phone call for an interview tomorrow. It is at a customs brokerage, and when I had applied they said they had nothing but they would keep me in mind. Well yesterday someone gave one weeks notice so they have an opening starting next week!!!! My interview is for 8 tomorrow morning :)

Just thought I would update you all.....interview is over and done with. He is interviewing one other girl besides me, but that is later this afternoon. I will find out tomorrow if I have the job or not, so I am keeping my fingers crossed :)

So am I!! I think the job would be alot of fun and I would be good at it. The guy that interviewed me though was really intimidating!!!! My girlfriend who works there had already warned me of that though..haha!!

sooo I am still waiting to hear. I have absolutely no patience when it comes to this kinda thing :( My girlfriend called me last night, and basically said that she hopes I get it but doesn't think I will. The other girl he interviewed was from his church, as I am not so most likely she will get the job. Oh well....I guess I will wait and find out for sure. I will admit that I am feeling a bit down right now because I was really hoping to land this job.

Thanks!! I didn't hear from him until late yesterday and he wants to see my references, so I guess I am not completely ruled out yet. So I am sending my references out to him this morning and we will see what happens.
