Template Feedback

Hi,

We're preparing a few new templates, and here is the first one.

I need your feedback, do you like it? If not, what would you change?

My own thoughts are:

- The Edges look a little fuzzy
- The shade at the bottom above the dark green looks out of place

I Love It!!

The only thing I would change is make the menu area a darker brown.

I like the soft edges, but yeah that shadow does seem out of place. Overall though I love it!

LOVE IT! And I agree, it would look good in other colors as well. Maybe instead of a darker brown on for the menu colors you could make them orange? Like a burnt oragen?

Well one thing that I'm going to work on soon is the ability to customize your site more; choose your default font, colors for links, headers, and what not so you'll be able to choose that yourself.

Ofcourse for the images itself that cannot be done, but I'm working on maybe some workarounds for that as well.

Also...I know that this is wedding announcer...but have they thought about branching off and doing things like baby announcer? I know alot of the ladies here have or are getting ready to have children so it would be nice for them to have a website that they could create to give to grandparents and stuff to keep them updated on their progress?

Just like a weight loss announcer or several others? Just a suggestion?

There will be a baby announcer, as far as other such sites, there aren't any plans yet, but once the framework and the code behind this site is stable, it is ofcourse pretty easy to branch out into other areas as well :)

I love the templates but wondering what other colours they could be available in - maybe a blue with a navy or silver lettering - can't wait to see more :)

Okay, I looked at it again. I'd get rid of the paper clip. It looks kinda out of place. Maybe for another more scrapbook-y type layout...

As much as I love the fade in the main text area, I might want to see what it looks like just solid light purple (like what it starts out as).

And that bottom divider seems off but I can't place it...

:D I am a graphic design student (almost done, YAY!) so I know how to pick apart everything. As long as you don't mind, I'll look over anything and make comments. :D

That's why I'm posting it here :) The purple layout is still a work in progress, it's just the first mockup that the designer sent me, he usually sends 2-3 before I'm satisfied with the template :)

Maybe, but then you might want to tie that color in someplace else on the layout. Just whatever you do, don't use pink! ;) :cool:
