All the bosses here at the station seem to have them in their offices, always on...they haven't had any complaints. I don't know about the brands though.

I wanted one, but then I realized I could have a bigger one w/more memory for free by just setting my screensaver on my laptop to be a slideshow of every photo on my computer :)

I think I'd forget to turn it on all the time if I got a frame

I got my parents a frame for Christmas, so they can run our engagement picture, bridals, wedding..etc. My mom wants to show her co-workers the pictures, so I figured she could just take the frame to work.

I bought her an 8 in. Kodak one. I got it at best buy...it is the black frame, and looks really nice.

It is Super easy to work, it can play home videos, you can add music to the slide shows...and it's very user friendly.

She loves it.

It's ok... I need something that is very user friendly. I plan on putting some pictures on it b4 I give it to her.
I want one too.. I am thinking of getting both trying them out and seeing which one is more my moms speed.

They have an internal memory of about 35 pictures or so- so I loaded some on my moms camera before I gave it to her, so she had something to look at.

Then from there, the easiest thing to do, is load a thumb drive with all the pictures you want to play..and stuck the thumb drive in the frame, and it will play through the pictures.

It also comes with remote, which is convenient!!!

My mom's digital camera is a Kodak- so at least the stuff looked familiar to her.

But even if you had NOTHING Kodak..it is still very very easy, and the quality is great.

I have one, it came in a budle with my carmera at christmas. I don't know what brand it is, but works great. Actually I just found the link to it, I'm guessing that since the camera is polaroid that the frame is also, but you never know. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7694086
