My niece is in the hospital!

My best friend just called me and told her daughter is in the hospital she's only a year and a half old! I'm so worried!! She had a fever of 104! and was vomiting and had diarrhea. Everyone please pray for her and her mom(he grandfather is also in the same hospital after having a really bad fall) :(

That's what my best-f sone was. And the same age. He ended up having pneumonia, dehydration (caused by the vomitting and diahrea), and type B flu.

I hope she gets better soon!

I just can't believe it's happening right now. Her grandad isn't doing very well. :( I'm going to visit them on wednesday. Hopefully everyone will be doing better!

Hopefully she'll be feeling better by then. Once they get fluids started and antibiotics (if needed) she'll start acting more like herself.

I haven't heard anything this morning, I'll probably call her late this afternoon, to see how my niece and her grandpa are doing. And mainly how she is doing, I can't even imagine the stress of having your baby in there :(

They're probably just playing the waiting game right now. It usually takes 24-48 hours for the cultures to come back. Hopefully you will hear some good news this afternoon.

I found out today she came home from the hospital yesterday but isn't showing any signs of getting better. She had her mom up alllllll night screaming her head off. I'm going to see her tomorrow, hopefully she's doing better!

I went to see her today. and she's STILL vomitting. Poor thing. She finally fell asleep on me after a couple of hours of crying. Her mom's going to be taking her back if she doesn't get better tomorrow! And her grandpa looks like he's doing good!
