Ok, so I was trying to start a home daycare but had very little interest. I had a lot of parents call about it but nobody signed up. I wanted to do the home daycare so I could stay home with my baby. However, since times are so tough I had to suck it up and start putting in applications. I applied at a daycare last week and the lady called me yesterday and wants me to come in Monday and meet with her. From the looks of it, I pretty much already have the job unless something unexpected happens! Of course, I would rather be home with Kathryn but at least at this job she will be at the same daycare so I can bring her with me in the a.m. and check on her through the day and spend my lunch with her. I only have to pay half for her daycare and if I still work there when she turns 2 I don't have to pay for her daycare at all! It is a really nice place. It's actually a private lutheran school and across the street is their daycare/preschool. So hopefully I will get the job. Wish me luck!

Good luck. Let us know what happens. I think that would be great if it works out. At least you will still be with your daughter part of the day.

Good luck! I'm sure you will enjoy it. I've worked at daycare and teach preschool now and I really like it (most of the time ;)).
