My great grandma who will be turning 99 in June received a special cane for being the oldest resident in the town she's lived in her whole life. The cane has been passed along to the oldest resident for over a hundred years. A bunch of our family went to the nursing home to watch her get it.

After the little ceremony, my mom told grandma to tell one of the nurses why she got the cane and she quickly came up with "because they think I can't walk anymore". It was really cute and funny.

That is so great about your grandma!! I hope I can look that good and live that long!! What an accomplishment....you will have to ask her what her secret is!! I love what she told the nurse!
