Ever been to a nude beach?

At the resort where we are going to in Jamaica there is a private island that is a nude beach. Bruce is dying to go. I say no. I am not no skinny mini (but not a huge girl) and would be so shy. On the resort's message board people have said there are people of all sizes and it isn't a big deal. Men are also not allowed to go alone...they have to be with their spouse/significant other. I am too scared to go there! LOL. Would anyone else go?

We have one in Austin, Hippy Hollow...& nope I've never been & never will!! LOL! I'm WAY too shy to do that sorta thing. :p

Yep! What an experience! It's pretty cool, but was a little akward since FH's brother & his ex was there too... but it was neat. You should definitely try it! And at the nude beach where we were (Haulover), most of the people were much older and there were all shapes and sizes. It definitely wasn't a beauty contest like it is on South Beach.

Nope, but there were a few on our cruise. . .and DH didn't realize that until we were already back on the ship and on our way back home. LOL. We were at dinner one night talking to our dinner mates about it and that they went. . .DH said "There was a nudie beach in St. Maarten." He looked kinda bummed. LOL I just laughed at him. (I didn't know there was one either. . .we were too busy shopping for that cheap alcohol). hehe :)

I'd do it again! I did feel self-conscious at first, but after I got over it then I had fun. I know this sounds so cliche, but it's natural. I guess you would get used to it after some time, but obviously there's just something about it or else there wouldn't be any nudist colonies! ;)

i haven't been to one but I guess FH went on a cruise with his family one year when he was younger and accidently found the topless deck. I think that's as close as we ever came to a nude beach lol. Although one year when we went to Daytona Beach, we saw a older man jogging on the beach wearing nothing but a VERY TINY thong!. We went with FH's 2 sisters and 2 brother-in-laws and afterwards we just looked at each other and laughed and turned red :o
