Hello Everyone!!
I am new to this site. Chad & I got engaged December 15th, 2005 and are getting married August 4, 2007 in Vancouver BC Canada. I am currently 23 years old and Chad is 24. We are having a long engagement for me to finish getting all of my paperwork in order to work as an RN in the US. I am working in Vancouver as an RN at the moment. Anybody else getting married in Canada? Any other 2007 brides out there? Anybody as young as I am??
Our website is:

FH and I are both 23. I know we have lots of Canadian brides on here, but I'm not one of them. Welcome! I'm so jealous you get to go to bora bora! that's what we wanted to do...maybe someday...

Wow, you two look fabulous together (and may I just say you look beautiful).
Congrats on the engagement. You'll find we have a few Canadians around here (and some english, swedish and Australians!!!)
I myself am only 22, and I know there are more of us 'younger brides' here too.
I love both your meeting and engagement stories. The site is looking great.
Post lots and happy planning!!!

Hi Guys!!
Thanks for the welcome. I am in tears right now because I just got back from writing my NCLEX RN exam and I think I failed horribly! Great, one month off work another $200 US to write the test and $668 US for a test prep class from Kaplan. Any other US nurses here that could help me out? I'm so stressed out and it's ridiculous that my Canadian liscence can't be transferred over to Oregon! AHHHHHHH! My whole life is revolved around passing this test and getting a job here and being with Chad. I want it more than the world and this was my second time writing it! I hate to have my wonderful future on hold because of this stupid test.
Sorry for the venting, I'm really upset.
Upset Bride-to-Be,
Ewa

you can always vent to us. I hope you feel better- how long before you find out your score? that is really silly that it won't transfer

I find out "unofficial" results in 2 business days, so this Friday. I spent all of yesterday bawling my eyes out. Chad came home from work and surprised me with a dozen pink roses and told me that he loves me and everything will work out. I will take that damn test every 45 days if I have to! He made me feel much better and I will work for his company while I study for it again...I just don't want to go back to Canada because I am miserable without him and I've gotten so accustomed to living with him here in Oregon. I just think it's stupid that I have to start my life over here. I'm an established professional nurse in Canada, and I don't see why I can't be one here without having to go through this much schooling and testing! Also, I have been driving for 7 years and Oregon wants me to take a flippin' knowledge test and driving test before they issue me a liscence! I mean, COME ON! I drive to and from Portland from Vancouver BC...so much driving experience and still!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! But Chad is worth all of this trouble. I love him dearly.
Thanks for hearing me out!
Sigh...
Ewa
P.S- But maybe I passed after all! I'll keep you all posted...

sounds like you've got a pretty good attitude about the whole thing. a lot of places make you take the written portion of the driving test, even if you're transfering your license from another state. how sweet of him to bring your roses!
