Everytime I look at other peoples wedding pictures I just think "How am I even going to come close to creating a beautiful wedding day".

Maybe it's because I have no physical wedding stuff and as I make purchases I will probably get some more confidence in what I'm doing. I think also not having anyone in my family/friends who really wants to help or give any input makes it worse.

Oh well! :p

your wedding will be beautiful too! I know mine didn't feel like like it was really going to be anything until this last month or so- and I bought the decorations months ago! My mom's the only one helping me, my friends are so spread out there's no good way to involve them, and none of the rest of the family has been much of a help. a long engagement gives you plenty of time to plan, but it also allows a lot more time to doubt those plans, change your mind, and create new plans, realize you liked the original plan better, and generally drive yourself nuts with self-criticism. luckily for you, you've got a baby on the way to keep you distracted!

And THAT, my friends, is why we LOVE Jacqui. She ALWAYS has the best answer. She is such a great advice giver! :) I wish she was closer, so I could hire her to be my personal mentor. LOL! :D

Everything that she has said is correct. . .Especially the fact that your wedding will be beautiful. . .mainly because it is YOUR wedding, and it is a true reflection of YOU! :)

that's right, she's like a personal cheerleader! I know how you feel, linny (heehee, i love that name).. I feel kind of the same way, I've been having the I STILL HAVE 17 MONTHS until wedding time.. But, Jacqui's right, I am sure your wedding will be beautiful and your baby, too!! :)

I understand exactly how you feel!!! i was thinking the same thing about our wedding, but now that we only have a few weeks to go, I feel that it's going to turn out really well and that things are going to be beautiful!!!! The colser you get to the day (and the more you have planned), the more confident you'll feel.
