Hi, I'm a new bride. I actually saw this site recommended by a user on Wedding Channel and I decided to check it out. I love the wedding website here, and all the users seem to be really nice.

Anyways, my fiance and I have only known each other 6 months (which sits really well with the parents by the way). We've actually been engaged since 3 months into the relationship, but we just told people last month. He's in the Army, so I'm marrying into the military, and our date is tentatively scheduled for December 29, 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia. Nice to meet all of you and good luck with your wedding planning!

Welcome to WA! I also had a very short time before my fiance proposed (6 weeks!), and my parents weren't too happy about it, so I totally understand what you're going through!!
