Any miracles for last minute breakouts??

I have a week to go and got a major breakout. Anyone know of anything that will clear up pimples within a week?????

okay, don't laugh. but.. Yeast with a little water and lemon juice. works pretty well. Also, I've had much success with something called "Persa Gel 10" you can get it at Target for 4.99.

Be careful in your efforts to clear it up you might dry out the area around the pimple. Then you will have a dry flaky scaly area. It also depends on the type of pimple. A raised regular one will clear up with conventional stuff but the cyst type under the skin will take longer.

I have never tried it, but I hear that preperation H (the hemoroid cream) will shrink the apperance of a pimple. You could try that if you still have it the day of the wedding.

What about getting a facial? I'd think that would work to clear up your skin, but that could be kinda risky if you've never had one & aren't sure of how your skin will react.

I'm breaking out like crazy too (from all the traveling to get to the wedding, I know it's the traveling cuz this always happens...ugh!). I'm taking extra good care of my skin this week (washing morning and night with anti-acne stuff, doing a warming face mask thing tomorrow) and hoping that I can cover it well enough with make-up :/

If you get a facial I would do it a few weeks before the wedding... just to be sure you don't have a bad reaction to the products they use.

I was reading about facials and it said that you should NOT get a facial at the last minute because it over- stimulates the pores and stuff and may cause excess oil, leading to breakouts.

i'm telling ya... yeast! i also just heard you can use visine! (that helps with redness of zits, too!)

I'm a person that breaks out. I sometimes use salt. Leave it on over night but only do it once. It should dry them up. Dont do it anymore then once because it will make your skin dry. Oh and to hold the salt in place use a band-aid. it works well.

Have you tried to use toothpaste it dries up pimples too
