I am ALWAYS hungry! ALWAYS!!! I have to eat about every 2 hours.
I get to work at 6am and I usually eat a granola bar and a cup of coffee.
By 8am I am STARVING, so I have a snack.
I go to lunch at 11am each day and usually in the afternoon, after lunch I am not as hungry.
Am I just weird, or do other people get hungry all the time too?
What types of foods can I eat to make me feel full all the time.

I eat very often, too! I've found it actually really helps me control what I eat. I pack in the morning what I eat for the day. As long as I eat exactly what I packed, I can definitely control my hunger.
A typical day for me:
7:30 or 8 am: breakfast, usually eggs or a yogurt
9:30 or so: morning snack: 99% of the time one serving of almonds
12 pm: lunch- fruit, veggies, protein
2 pm: afternoon snack- edamame usually
5:15-5:30 pm dinner: usually protein or oatmeal
That's all I eat, and I am RARELY hungry.

I am pretty good about watching what I eat. For my snacks I work I bring in 100 calorie packs, or a granola bar. But I just can't stop being hungry.
I guess it doesn't help too that I sit on my azz at work. If I was move busy or moving around I think that might help some.

I'm always hungry, especially now because it's that time 'o month. But I find that when I eat breakfast, I'm always STARVING by lunch time! (Which I take to mean my metabolism works better when I eat breakfast.) Anyawys, my mom is the same. She calls us grazers! :)

I am a grazer, too! Self-proclaimed. As long as I portion out what I can eat, though, I don't feel like I'm cheating my "grazer"ness.

OK I have a question.. Before I started working out I never drank water and I finds it makes me feel kinda almost sick I don't know how to explain it.. Its almost like a hunger feeling... Is that bad? lol

I have noticed that too, and never understood why, if I dont eat breakfast then I can hold off on lunch later, but if I eat i'm starving by like 11am, thats makes no sence at all!

The body is meant to eat many small meals a day...we have thrown it off by eating 2 to 3 large meals. If you eat a good breakfast, a snack, lunch, a snack, and an early dinner....not before bed and then a snack if you stay up late...you would be suprised how much better you might feel. I have had many girls on my equestrian team that have complained about how they work out all the time...b/c of the team, but they still can't lose any weight. When asked about their eating habits, most said they skip breakfast most of the time, sometimes skip lunch, but always eat dinner. Their bodies don't know when they will get food so they are in starvation mode and are storing fat. I am the worst unhealthy and junk food eater in the world, but I eat 5 to 6 smaller meals and snacks a day on a regular schedule...I may not be the best at working out either...although I have been trying to make myself use the stairs more often than the elevator lately...I am 5'2 and I weigh between 110 115. Freshman year in college I got up to about 125, but I didn't eat on my regular schedule and I took the elevator every where...I sat in my room all day and hardly left except to eat and go to class. The joys of college dorm depression!!!

I'm hungry all the time and I think I can safely say I have the metabolism of cold molasses. I am trying to get better about my habbits though and hope that actually sticking to a scedual will help things instead of just snacking all the time.

I'm always "mentally" hungry. I feel like I need to snack all the time. I'm finding the more protien I eat, the longer I feel full. ALso, snacking every few hours is 10x's better than having 3 big meals. That's why you look so darn sexy in your dress :)

I have defeinitely been blessed with a high metabolism, which I'm enjoying now b/c I know one of these days it'll go away. But I just started eating every 3 hours, following the "3-Hour Diet" (go figure;):p)
I haven't read the book, mainly b/c it's too darn expensive, but I'm getting the jist of it based on what I saw on the Tyra Show. I've noticed that I'm not as hungry anymore. I started eating every 3 hours and nothing else, but I found that I'm still in a "snacky" mood, so I've modified it to fit my needs and it's working pretty well.
My schedule is usually breakfast between 8:30 and 9:30, snack between 10:30 and 11:30, lunch at noon, which has been getting smaller recently, snack between 2:30 and 3:30 and then dinner whenever I get home or to Tim's...usually between 5:30 and 6:00, then I'll have a small snack before 8:00 or 9:00 and I'm good for the night.
I've also introduced myself to the wonders of portion control...seriously, this Tyra episode opened my eyes. I mean, you go to a buffet (her example) and you automatically fill your plate to the brim with everything in sight b/c your body is craving whatever it is. Instead, I've began eating just a taste of things...enough to subside the craving. Instead of sitting here and eating the entire tube of pringles, I'll have 6 (1/2 serving size) just to tide me over.
Okay, I think you all get my point;) Sorry for so much stuff:rolleyes:
