View Full Version : Kust finished my DIY Invites! *pics

I bought a kit from an office supply store, added rhinestones and heart brads and this is the finished project! My first copy. Let me know what u think and especially if there are any grammatical errors!
(and ya, I know the border didn't show up on the two cards. I THINK I have to reset the page borders or something b/c there IS enough room for the line!)

Oh, ya I forgot to add I screwed up on teh RSVP . . it's not www before the announcer page, lol . . . these will be the copies I keep for sentimental value I think, or I'll give them to someone who I know does not have a computer!

Good job! Funny about you saying you'll give them to people who you know don't have a comp lol. I had the same invites btw :P Good call :D

Thanks, ladies.. after SO much indecision about everything to do with invitations, I am so happy with how they turned out. Though, I'll warn you I wasted about half the kit when my printer decided it did not like the hearts! I got one good one (in the pic) and that was IT!!!! Until I figured out (after three verrrrrry long nights) to rotate everything 180 degrees and print upside down, then it was good. lol, printer just did NOT like the hearts!!!!

WOW those look great - I fully understand about the minor mistake - on mine (I hope to post pics soon) half of them say the wedding starts at 600:00 PM LOL - I'm thinking (here I go being obsessive compulsive again :)) redoing them but my FH said "just give those ones to the close family and bridal party etc as keepsakes" If only I had 50 ppl who would fit in that category LOL

where did you buy your invite kit and how much were they if u dont mind? I'm looking to diy mine too for hopefully pretty cheap. yours look awesome!
