i'm looking for a thank you gift, not too expensive, to thank someone for helping at my wedding. a friend of my mother volunteered to assist my husband's grandmother from start to finish, even got her back to the nursing home safetly so his parents could enjoy the whole evening and she could see her grandson get married. she's the sweetest woman in the world! she even skipped her own brother's rehearsal dinner!!! anyway, i'm looking for something kind of funny. :p he's a complete basketcase mother just like mine. haha. she's the type of person that says "who cares as long as we're happy".

any suggestions??

I saw this on theknot board today. . .sounds like a great idea! :)

Just a cute idea I came up with late yesterday....There are 8, yes 8, different ladies throwing a couples shower for FI and I tomorrow night (big party), and I wanted to give them a nice thank you. sooo...I had ordered chrome wine bottle stoppers (only $3.50 each!!weddingchannel.com) and I tied them with a ribbon to a cardstock cut out of a wine bottle (tan wine bottle and red bottle label) and on the label i printed out the following :

"Enjoy your favorite wine a little at a time...and savor the flavor!! Just a small thank you for throwing us such a wonderful shower. Love, Nikki & Kevin"

They turned out REALLY cute and were very inexpensive thank you gifts. Just wanted to share!! I get excited when I get crafty and something actually turns out well!
