Ohio Ladies, Need Your Help

Hey ladies. So DH decided now that he wants to go to the NFL Hall Of Fame Inductions since Darrell Green and Art Munk. So here is what I need help with:

1) Best airport to fly into?

2) Best place to stay (inexpensive but close)

3) Any other suggestions.

The closest airport to the Hall of Fame is Akron/Canton. It is a smaller airport, so it is less busy, but depending on where you are flying from you may have some trouble flying into Akron/Canton. Here's the link: http://www.akroncantonairport.com/

Cleveland Hopkins Airport is bigger and it is about 1 1/2 hours from the Hall of Fame in Canton. Here's the link: http://www.clevelandairport.com/site/375/default.aspx

I can't really give any advice on hotels, but I'm sure there are a number to choose from.

I agree with the Akron/Canton airport being closest. I really don't know about hotels in that area, but I'm not all that far away about 1 hr 45 minutes From my parents' house, its only 1 hr away so I've been in that area several times. Also, the McKinley Museum up there is really neat; I've been there many times. Belden Village Mall is also nice in that area.

Thanks for the suggestions ladies. DH actually found some flights into Akron. We are trying to figuere out if we would rather drive or fly. At the moment the flights are over $200 pp. However with gas prices the way they are not really sure if it better or worse.

DH said it would take six hours to drive. We have to see what looks better over all.

Oh and also, anywhere in North Canton would probably be the best place to stay. The neighborhoods in the other areas of the city are not as nice IMO.
