I've gained 15 pounds since my wedding, which was almost three months ago, and now that the holidays are over, I'm ready to get on track with my fitness goals! I want to get back into my wedding-day shape, or even be more fit than I was then.

My new apartment complex has a gym, so I have no excuse not to work out! I've never been one to do cardio exercise (I lasted about 4.5 minutes on the elliptical machine yesterday), so I have some tough work ahead of me, but I really want to do this!

So here are my goals:

January 3rd

Start fitness regimen, which will include:
  • 30 minutes on recumbent bike, 4 times per week
  • 30 minutes strength-training, 3 times per week

February 3rd
  • 30 minutes stationary bike, 5 times per week
  • 30 minutes strength training, at least 3 times per week

March 3rd
  • 15 minutes elliptical machine and 20 minutes stationary bike, 5 times per week
  • 30 minutes strength training, 3 times per week

I'm hoping to have lost the extra 15 pounds by March 15th. I want to continue getting in better shape after that, though, and ensure that I don't gain the same 15 pounds next holiday season that I seem to every year!

Oooh can I join? I hadn't seen this thread before...I know its a bit late, but please?

On our honeymoon and shortly after I gained a good 10-15 pounds...it just seemed like it came on overnight. I didn't really notice a difference until just recently.

I already started on the Couch to 5K running program, which I plan to continue as well as add more workouts to the program in the next weeks.

February 11th Goals
-Continue Couch to 5K program
-Start on Weight Watchers program again
-Start adding on additional workouts to my program (elliptical with treadmill, cardio kick, flexibility training)

March 11th Goals
-Continue Couch to 5K program
-Continue to add and change additional workouts
-Continue on Weight Watchers

April 11th Goals
-Finish up Couch to 5K program and continue running & hopefully start running outside with the dog
-Continue with workouts
-Continue Weight Watchers

With a heathy goal of trying to lose 1-2 pounds per week, by the beginning of April, I should have hopefully dropped around 10 pounds. I can do this!

To the girls on here,

Best and most sincerest wishes - remember you deserve your own happiness!

I'm over 130 pounds lighter, so anything is possible. Just have patience, and the willingness to "fall over 7 times, get up 8" (loved it so much I thought i'd borrow it)

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post... I was wondering if you all know much about vitamins. I'm looking to drop some weight as well, and was recently warned to consider vitamins/supplements. Do you know what vitamins work best when focusing on weight loss? I would ask a doctor, but I won't have one until the fall.

Most of brides will face a fitness challenge because of fear of wedding. The most of bridal will face a problem of weight loss. It leads them to uncomfortable dress during the wedding. My kindly advice to them is maintain a good health at least during the wedding period.
