I called the bridal store today to see if I could get it in ivory with ivory details. They originally told me that they could give it to me only in ivory with blush details, but I found on Maggie's website that it comes ivory/ivory. They said they'd check on it. I also called to see if they would knock and additional $30 off of the price. They were selling the dress for $768, but I found out later the suggested retail price was $738. They did give me $100 off of the dress for buying it that day, but I feel like they shouldn't have marked it up in the first place. She said she'd check on that for me and call me back. Hopefully she'll do it, more for customer satisfaction since it's only $30... (but when planning a wedding, I need all I can save!)
sounds good, $30 is half a pair of shoes!

Do you think this BM dress would go good with the dress? Or too similar?

The lady at the bridal store suggested tea length...

I think a tea length would probably look better, keep it strapless though...the pic above is too much like your dress and i think those dresses would distract from your gown some..

Ok, so for sure simpler... what about the waistline? Mine has a drop waistline, so should I stick with something like that, or do you think an empire or natural waistline would look best? Also, I was thinking about the strapless thing... since my dress has the heartshape neckline, would it look okay for the BM to have a straight neckline, or should I go for something more like a halter?

dropped or natural, not empire. any kind of neckline would be ok, the straight on them will make you stand out more.

Yay Bianca! I LOVE that dress. If it would have looked good on me, I would have gotten that one! LOL! But it looks awesome on you! Great choice!
