South Carolina Ladies I Need Your Help

Hey all you South Carolina ladies, whether you live there or you're getting married there I need your help.

As I mentioned before I am now the wedding coordinator for a friend of mine getting married next year. However she lives in NY at the moment and the groom lives in South Carolina and I have never been there. I think I might have found a ceremony/reception location but we are still in the early stages of planning.

I need your help with any recommendations you can make to help. They are on a very tight budget.

Possible wedding location: Lake Greenwood State Park

Well at this point I am trying to keep them as low as possible. If you check out her Journal I created, you can see some of the ideas I have been tossing around.

I think the main problem we are running into is finding a nice ceremony and reception location but they need to be handicap accessible. She is in a wheel chair. I was thinking of maybe a community center or a apartment complex or regular housing complex that might have a party room or place where she can hold her wedding.

Where do you live, she lives in Laurens SC.

I live in Orangeburg, SC but use to live in Anderson, SC. How far are they willing to travel to have there wedding? I have found some really nice locations, one in Moncks Corner, SC, Batesburg-Leesville, SC, Lexington, SC and another in Columbia, SC. (and they are all wheel chair accessible, except I don't know about the one in Columbia, SC) I have to get a location that is wheel chair accessible for my brother!

Let me know.

I don't think she is too limited on how far she is willing to travel for the wedding. I was trying to keep it fairly close.
