My wife has zero ambition

Hello. My wife used to work in IT and she was quite good and making career in that company. But after we got our son she lost interest in career completely! She wants to quit her management position and try herself in Affordablepapers as a writer. I only want her to be happy and don't want her to hate her decision afterwards.

Being a Mom and working is a very difficult struggle and the balance can be stressful.

I know as a Mom of an 8 year old I still feel guilty leaving my daughter every day for work.

Since management takes up more time than the average lower level positions it means taking more time away from her son so I'm not surprised that the ambition has died.

Her desire is to spend as much time as possible with your son.

If this other job will allow her to feel like she has a better work/personal life balance that's a good thing.

I support her choice. My sister did the same to spend more time with her kid.
