This is what is on the planning tools checklist to be done this month.
Select a caterer
Select a photographer and/or videographer
Select a baker, if wedding cake is not supplied by caterer
Select a florist and determine floral plans
Choose reception format (buffet, sit-down dinner,..)

Select a caterer - DONE (included in reception site)
Select a photographer and/or videographer - working on it, hopefully done by the end of next month. Probably won't have videographer.
Select a baker, if wedding cake is not supplied by caterer - working on it, hopefully done by the end of next month
Select a florist and determine floral plans - haven't gotten there yet, will work on right after the new year.
Choose reception format (buffet, sit-down dinner,..) - DONE (sit-down dinner)

It looks like I should be getting busy!

Woo hoo! I'm so excited! We are finally caught up on our check list. The only thing that we have left to do (some of the things we are working on) is put our engagement announcement in the paper (haha, 2 years later) and then some random things that we are already working on.

My mom called me this morning and said she booked the ceremony site, reception site and caterer. My mom is my baker and florist so we don't need those. We are going to check on 2 different people to be possible photographers, and then we are going to look into getting a DJ. We were going to use our friend as a DJ, but my mom said since we are saving so much money elsewhere, we could do an actual business for our DJ.

Our ceremony site is only $110. Our reception site is $150 plus $100 deposit that we get back if the place isn't destroyed when we leave. And then our caterer is only charging $6.50/plate for a 2 meat buffet!
