Shower....

For you Northwest Indiana girls I have a question.....

Where is a cheap but nice place to have my reception? I'm looking at having 50-60 people, and my house and my parent's house is too small. We don't want to pay an arm and a leg for this.

Thanks for any help

Tiebels? They let you order off the menu and most lunches are under $10 a person.

There's a plave on rt.30. It's the St. John something or other. They always advertise for wedding and baby showers.

There's Tiebels.

The hall I used (Banquets at St. George) has a small room for showers.

Um... Try the Halls of St. George, but I think they may be too big.

I've been to a baby shower at Dick's restaurant in St. John. Wasn't bad.

The Grand Tea Room in St. JOhn has banquet rooms..I was thinking of having mine at a tea room, but I have no idea how much it costs or how many people you can have.

I've also been to a post-funeral reception at Andorra Banquet hall in Schererville. I remember liking the food there.

I can keep going on this one...i'm the research queen

My mom mentioned that one and then you mentioned it. I just want something laid back, not so formal. I'd LOVE to have it at my house or my mom's, but I doubt that'll happen unless we split the showers up. I was hoping my sister would volunteer...maybe I'll ask her. She's got a big enough house
