Pre cana for me and my DH was fun. we did a lot of hugging and kissing( to each other) and the instructors really put us at ease with what the sacrament really is.

take pictures enjoy your day.

I'm starting out w/ meeting with our priest, but I don't think that we do much besides just meeting with him and taking that "test" to see what we thought on certain issues.

Pre Cana?! Is this a Catholic thing?? I am a newbie to the Catholic religion...well technically I am not a newbie yet...I have barely begun RCIA. I won't be getting married in the Church, fh disagrees with some things about Catholicism and we just don't discuss it, b/c we get mean about it.

We haven't gone yet, but ours is a 6hour thing and I have to schedule it soon b/4 they say sorry we can't help you. They told me we're supposed to schedule 9 months in advance and I'm already pushing 8 months. Hopefully we'll be able to get in for the Feb one.

Yeah, it's a Catholic thing if you want to get married in the church and/or by a priest. some priests will exempt you though if you are not getting married in the church, but I'm not sure. my Fh did RCIA about 2 years ago, he was Catholic but never got sacraments and my family practically demanded that we get married in the church
