We had ours at DH's brothers house... it was a potluck/BBQ thing and turned out great. Our families hadn't really met yet, so this was a great informal and social way to meet. I think a picnic or a park thing would have been fun too!

we are having ours at the church's banquet hall. we have the kitchen that we need, and this way we won't waste time driving anywhere

We are looking to have ours at a buffet style restaurant as no one really lives close enough to the church we are getting married at.

We had ours at the hotel where we were staying the night before. They had a room we were able to rent for really cheap. Got a discount with our room block.

Have you heard of Maggianos? It's a family style italian restaurant. I've geard great things about them & heard their price is reasonable.

Since there are going to be soo many people at our Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner... I think we are going to have just something catered to my Mother's house. It will be in the evening, so I would love to hang white Christmas lights and maybe some candlelight on the tables.
