Anything BUT an aisle runner?

Hey ladies,

I'm thinking about the wedding & I don't think I want an aisle runner. I think they're a waste of money...and you guys know how thrifty I have to be for this wedding...even though $20 doesn't sound like alot...I'd rather spend it on something else?

Do you have any other suggestions to put down the aisle instead of an aisle runner?

well, depending on where you're getting married (indoors or outdoors) you can scatter fake rose petals on the floor. Or you can outline your aisle with rose petals...

I was thinking the same thing. If you're having an outdoor wedding you can have the kids/friends gather up a bunch of leaves and flowers around where you're getting married and put those up the aisle.

We're getting married indoors. I was thinking about the rose pedals too but it would be a pain in the butt to pick them up. Hmmm *thinking*

Do you not like the look of the aisle runner?
If you do, but think it's plain you can probably customize yours.
Buy the plain runner & paint on you & your FH names, date, & maybe a nice saying or short poem.
Nothing fancy, you can even use Microsoft Word for your font stencils.

No, I don't have anything against the aisle runner...but I was trying to think of ways to be creative. My brain isn't working today though.

That is a good idea about personalizing it....I'll have to think of something. Thanks for your thoughts girls!
