Want to comment on my journal?
I'm hoping that it's okay to start this thread here.
I would really like to get other's comments/advise/opinions on the things that are posted in my journal. Since the journals can't be replied to (and because I still want my journal to stay nice and organized), I'm starting this thread. So, if you want to comment at all on any of my ideas/thoughts/etc, please feel free.
I'm open to all suggestions...

I'm loving your journal!
Do you mind if I steal your invite idea? I love it, and it has so much info in that little thing, which I love!

Thanks for the comments, ladies!
Linda ~ I don't mind at all if you "steal" the idea...after all, that's how I got it!
Nicole ~ You have good taste! Do you have a picture of you in the dress that you'd be willing to share? It's so much easier to judge dresses when you can see them on a real person.

Here is a pic of me in the dress. I actually got a size smaller than pictured here because there was a little extra room in the top. I bought the veil I am wearing too, it has crystals that match the dress detailing. Not very good because my sister hasn't mastered the art of using a digital camera yet and I looked bad that day.

teehee I figured I'd ask
While I'm at it with a comment here, do you mind if I ask what size your making the invite card and such? I suck at trying to find the right size when I'm supposed to make things in paintshop

Don't necessarily count out other designers bc of price, you can always get to trunk shows & things like that. (i saw you are thinking of david's due to budget) my dress was $449 including tax from www.alexaclaire.com (bought through local bridal shop). and a lot of dressmakers go into the plus sizes too.
love your invites!
the jewelry set you got from ebay looks great!

The size of the invite, folded, will be 5x7 inches. The size of the outside paper is 11x7 inches. It is folded 4-inches from the left and 2-inches from the right (leaving 5-inches in the middle). The invite card is 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 and is mounted on another piece of paper that is 4 3/4 x 6 3/4. The inserts on the left are all 3 1/2 inches wide. Length for each is: Response Card - 4 1/2, Music Selection Card - 5, Travel Information - 5 1/2, Hotel Accomodations - 6, Wed Site Info - 6 1/2. They are mounted on a piece of paper that is 3 3/4 x 6 3/4.
Hope I didn't make that too confusing.

Tanya, I actually already have all of the paper for my invites...the paper for the covers is a slightly texured cardstock. I'm not certain what the weight is, but the ivory cardstock I bought for inside is 80#, and this stuff is quite a bit stiffer than that. Hope that helps...
