77 days to go! i flew home for my shower over the weekend and everything began to feel real. i know that sounds funny, but it just wasn't sinking in i guess. it was really nice. i also ordered my cake. it's pretty simple, four tiers, traditionally decorated. i'm not a cake person so i personally don't care much, but i'm sure it will look pretty. i was a little disappointed my dress didn't get in in time, but i'll survive. it just means i have to fly home again ($$) before the wedding which i wasn't planning on doing. oh well...an extra trip to see my family i guess!

how are the rest of you doing? besides being in shock that the days are flying by...are you crossing things off your list??

I think my shower (June 25th) is really what made it start to seem "real," too. And today, I got my invitations, so I'm sure that once I start addressing those, it will really sink in! FH and I will probably go pick out our cake next Friday, and are also going to try to meet with the priest that day to pick out ceremony readings. I still have to book a limo and set up specifics for everything (church music, DJ playlist, etc.), plus finish assembling favors. It seems like a lot of "busy work" the closer it gets to the wedding!

I hope that your dress comes in very soon...I'm sure it will, but it must be a pain for you to keep having to fly home! But it is good that you'll get to see family again before the wedding.

Yay, I'm excited, too! Only one month! It's crazy how close it is. I have off work today and tomorrow and am hoping to wrap up most of my favor-making. There are still lots of little things to do, and now that it's only ONE MONTH away, I feel like I should be getting to work!
