AAAHHHHH...Maid of Honour Trouble

Hi Everyone,

I need some advice....

MY Maid of Honour lives in a different province then me, but she has known for a while that she is my maid of honour. She is making it very difficult on completing the dress portion of this planning. I had told her in advance that I wanted it all done by Sept (as I am finishing University this year) and will be extremely busy with school.

What do I do??? Do I just get her to go in and get measured at a shop in her home town and send me her measurements and hope to heck that the dress suits her???There isn't a store near her home that she can go and try on the dress that I have chosen.

Help please!!!!!

i would tell her that she needs to make her arrangements. either she figures a way to get to your dress shop or she gets measured herself and calls them in so it is on her (size-wise). give her all the information she needs: dress make/#, store address, store #, etc. also check with your dress shop regarding the orders. one of my (former) bridesmaids was giving me a problem about getting measured...two months went by...and the shop finally called and said they hold the order until all girls have measured and paid deposit so they would all come from the same reel/dye. if that's the case, tell her she has until __ date to measure and order or she'll cause problems for the entire party. dresses are not an unknown when asked to be in a wedding!!!

Don't feel bad both my maids of honours are going be out of town will one is going to be over seas!!

I had a good conversation with her and she is looking herself for a shop in a city near her to hopefully try on the dress and if there isn't a place there for her to try it on she said she would just get measured. So hopefully this will be the end of MH trouble.
