I Am Not Even A Mom Yet, & I Am Making Costumes

Well as I told you ladies last week, my DH had an annual Desset Concert at our church on Sunday. Well I didn't tell you the entire story behind the goofy costume pictures I posted.

His group had to all dress up as the Charlie Brown gang. My DH was Snoopy. The part of the costume I posted last week was of course for the body, but no head and several other items missing.

Well since DH was sick and waited until last week to tell me about this (just before we got the costume) I had to scramble to help him make the rest.

So Saturday before we went out to dinner we ran around and got the material, etc needed. I had to make the head, the tail, collar, the spot, the ears, and nose. As well as he decided to tell me Sunday morning he had to have a valentines box as well. So I had to find red wrapping paper and wrap a box and make hearts etc.

I was up until 5am Sunday morning working on it and finally went to bed because I couldn't see anymore then got up again at 9am and worked on the last of the stuff until 12pm. I had to finish the last little bit when we got to the church.

So needless to say I was dragging all day yesterday, but the nice thing is everyone thought it was great. They loved it. Afterwards DH finally told me he appreciated it after giving me so much grief as I was working on it. I will post pictures later.
